After returning from Cappadocia, Ezio went to Sofia's bookshop and found Yusuf's dead body.
And I just found that if Ezio doesn't move after entering the bookshop he will hear Yusuf fighting with templars and his dying groan.
That made me believe if I run faster I will rescue Yusuf back alive. And I tried some times, but it's useless, of course.
Then I can't hold my tears, again.
Ezio you almost got to him, almost... TT_TT

And actually really loved that moment.
It is vary rare in a game that the developers don't take a chance to create some epic, grand, powerful moment, and in many games you see an over-saturation of these moments and it feels to "try hard"... also making every moment impactful to the player just beats you down and desensitizes to future moments.
Ubisoft had a chance to craft one of these moments, (eg. you arrive in time to have an emotional conversation to the dying Yusuf, or you have a valiant battle and save the day) but I feel that they realized that real-life doesn't work that way, and finding someone already dead is far more likely.
So Ezio said his final respects and Yusuf was done. That effected me far more than anything else that could have happened.
It's so bad..... and how they built it up with that one moment when Yusuf is sensible and says he will protect Sofia.....and then THAT!!! :C
.......damn you ubisoft & you killing off of all the ones we love to make us heart-broken.
THE LIST OF DEAD PEOPLE IS TOO LONG UBISOFT!!! JUST STOP IT!!!
my brother played it first & he was just as heart-broken as me when we saw what happened. Yusuf was such a cool character...meh, i'm babbling, i'll shut up now & just grieve. :L
Why do they always kill the nice guy?WHY?
