Assassin's Creed: Revelations comic: Yusuf \ Ezio. Maybe some friends didn't realize this is a flash file. Plz move you mouse on this picture and you will see the continue button. Thank you XD
Achilles' Heel from Toploader has become my favorite song now. I have looped this for months during drawing this comic. The lyrics look like what Yusuf wanted to tell Ezio...
Goodbye to the sky, I know I can't fly, but I feel love do you know how I feel? you are my achilles heel. hello to below, I feel love flow like a river flow you and I standing still you are my achilles heel.
feeling free, yeah, what about me? well you gotta give it up cos I feel love do you know how I feel? you are my achilles heel goodbye to the sky I know I can't fly, but I feel love do you know how I feel? you are my achilles heel.
for there's a child in your eyes and the child never dies so keep the dream alive with the aid of second sight I can push with all my might to make a statue in the sky of my achilles heel
small fry, don't know why gotta get high - just to love life you are my highs and lows from my head to my toes I said hey la, will I go far? will I go far - cos I love life do you know how I feel? you are my achilles heel I said oh no no, will I go slow? will I go slow, when the feeling flows
for there's a child in your eyes and the child never dies so keep the dream alive with the aid of second sight I can push with all my might o make the satue in the sky of my achilles heel
well you're feeling free so what about me? I said hello and goodbye but I don't know why well while we're small fry on the line with my achilles heel
I felt like this was a great piece. It was easy to follow the story, even if you had not played the game. The art created the mood a somber mood and the dialogue just ends up breaking your heart at the end. I felt like the artist did a great job of highlighting the armor as well, making it seem epic, which was the whole reason that Ezio went looking for it. But what really got me was the last chapter. Showing how Yusuf was wounded, and that he died mere seconds before Ezio got there was just devastating. I felt Yusuf's pain earlier in the story, but that was nothing compared to how broken I felt in those last few pages. Oh, and I loved that the artist added both the Turkish (I'm assuming that is what he is speaking) AND the translation. Overall, this is wonderful and I really look forward to seeing more of the artist's work.
I really loved this but it really broke my heart. I've been crying for the last 5 minutes at least. I've always had a soft spot for Yusuf but when he died I just couldn't take it and had to play the missions through tears. Part of me knew that I was going to find someone dead when I walked in Sofia's shop. But Yusuf didn't deserve to die! He had so much ahead of him still!!! Ugh! Love it.
When I came to the part in the game when I saw the dead Yusuf, I felt a little empty, because we can't see what happens, I like what you do, because I can think this is what exactly happens, and I want to believe this is what happens. You take all the details in the game and perfectly adds togheter into the comic.
You're painting and drawing skills are really great. I can't imagine how much it took, that surely was hard.
First comic to make me tear up. Assassins Creed is the only game that has ever pulled me like this, so I guess it is expected that a comic like this with two of my most loved characters would make me feel like this... Beautiful artwork and amazing detail and it is clear that you have researched into the history of it.
